I again want to thank everyone who nominated and voted for me. It's an awesome privilege to help families develop their own financial game plan to get them out of debt; retire; develop emergency and education savings; and stop being taken by unscrupulous insurance agents.

2009-05-22: No more "little puppy". Our youngest has GROWN into an awesome small dog (who thinks he's a Rottie.) Full of energy but as gentle as can be. He thinks he's king.

2008-06-05: My how time (and puppies) grow. In a short 5 months, Fenway has grown into a 25 lb large puppy. He does not like to  cuddle (until it's bed time, then wants the whole bed). He is a wonderful dog.

2008-01-03: Today we have a new addition to our family. Meet "Fenway", a Boston Terrier (no, Trish is a die-hard Yankee fan, but what else do you name something from Boston?) Although he's not a replacement for our Maggie; he will be loved just as much. Welcome to your new home, Mr. Fenway

2007-11-13: Today we had to put or wonderful dog, Maggie, to sleep. What a heart-wrenching experience. But despite the pain and the heartache we are all incurring; it was the only option we had.

She was my buddy and friend; Trish's protector; and Laurie's "daughter". Maggie got all of us through the hard times we went through over the past few years; and was always there to give us a big kiss.

We love you Maggie. You will be missed and never forgotten.

2007-09-13: I took the next step in career planning. I am now doing Financial Strategies for families, and obtained my Life & Health licensing (I'm doing this part-time, as I'm still with Avaya). I'm helping middle income families make sure their financial home is solid - by helping them reduce or eliminate debt, and making sure they have adequate life, health, retirement, legal and long term care protection.

Why am I doing this? I was very impressed in how this nationally renown company has been helping many of our church members with realigning their financial strategies (I've seen them help people get homes when they have been told they could never do so; help them create a retirement program when all hope was lost; etc.) The best part - the services are FREE - no cost to you, the client.

I am now be part of this unique group of people; and am helping others obtain and achieve their long term financial dreams. I'm very excited about this opportunity.

2007-03-01: UPDATE: Our daughter Laurie has moved back home with us!! After many months of living in an abusive "hell" with her mother in California, she has moved back to PA. She is already working 2 jobs, and is in the process of getting her life, finances and emotions back in order.
